Quest 3 battery instantly dies

I bought this in October 2023, so the warranty is gone.

The battery just recently just began draining.  It'll charge to 36% and won't go further and then if I unhook it, it just loses energy fast.

 

I already did a full wipe and reinstalled updates, so it seems that it has to be hardware.

 

What can I do?

    Some useres experienced charging issues since v77.

    Have you tried putting the Quest into sleep mode instead of turning it off and then charging it?

    Personally, I just place the Quest on a shelf without turning it off or putting it into sleep mode and then charge it. 

    If you still can't fully charge the headset, you should talk to support.
