I cant for the life of me find a way to disable this awful double tap feature, sure its great for standalone but as someone who uses pcvr and i just wanna lay down and watch a movie, im not even tapping it and it keeps activating and its driving me nuts, is there a way to disable this feature or passthrough overall, i know there USED to be a way to but it seems that setting is gone now?
Quest 2 user here. There used to be a way to disable this, but I can't find the setting anymore, unfortunately. Looks like it might be forced now, which sucks as someone who adjusts their headset a lot.

We came across your post and wanted to offer some assistance regarding pass-through.
You've mentioned that you'd like to turn pass-through off. Not to worry, this can be done by doing the following steps:
1. Press the Meta/Oculus button on your right controller to open the universal menu.
2. Select the clock on the left-hand side of the universal meny to open Quick Settings.
3. Select Settings > Environment Setup > Pass-through
4. Turn the toggle next to Turn on Pass-through

This setting doesn't exist. Going to Environment Setup there is no Pass-through module. I have talked with numerous users experiencing the same issues.
I personally want the ability to turn pass-through off as while I use a PC link software like Quest link, I often find myself accidentally tapping the side and switching to pass through. After doing so, my in-game bit rate becomes extremely buggy. So much to the point where I have to both reset my headset and PC link service.
I would very much like this feature back inside the UI, as my experience with my quest has plummeted with consistent problems.
that's the problem YOU REMOVED THAT SETTING YOU DINGUS
All you can do is report it as a problem through "Quick Settings"->"Report Problem" in your headset. If enough people do that, maybe Meta will bring the setting back.
Dear Meta guys, you disabled this option in v81. Why did you do that? Please revert this change asap!
