Quest 3 Headset Prompting for Birthday, but it should already be on my account.

Why is my Quest 3 headset suddenly asking for my Birthday when it is already on my account??
I only have 1 profile and I don't share my devices with anyone else.

I'm way over 18, and my Birthday is already in the accounts center. I have multiple devices going back to the original Samsung Galaxy S6 based GearVR, and Oculus Rift CV1.

Is this some issue from splitting off Horizons Worlds(which I've never used)?

I mostly use my Quest 3 to connect to my PC, and use a couple of local media consumption apps.

 

Other weird things I noticed whilst checking things out to confirm that my Birthday was already on my account?

https://secure.oculus.com/my/gear-vr-go/ <- Does not have either of my GearVRs listed (I have both the one for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S9) I'm sure that they were previously listed on my account.

  • It's a security check. Sometimes kids make one up, then they can't remember it and get caught out. 😁

      I browsed through my profile and found the page that matched your link for the Credit Card, it did have a Credit Card listed, it was however the previous expired one, I have updated it, waited a day, and the headset is still prompting for my Birthday, So I don't think it was the Credit Card thing.

        If you have Facebook or Instagram etc linked to your Meta account, maybe one of them has a discrepancy in the birthday. I'd recommend unlinking those accounts.

        You can contact official Meta customer support here. The "chat with customer support" is the best option.
