Is there any way of actually fixing that isn’t just buy a new controller?
You probably need a new joystick module.
If you feel confident in doing it yourself...... you can buy them on Amazon, ebay and so on.
There are videos on youtube showing how to replace the module.
If you don't want to do that yourself, use a repair service like Fix my Oculus - when you are in the US - or google for a similar service in your country.
