Quest 3 Link

 I have a brand new quest 3 headset, I switched it on and followed the setup steps entered my wi-fi and it connected fine then it proceeded to update it was approx. 30 seconds then it appeared to shut down and then restart and repeated. This loop continues. I then tried the link cable opened the meta horizon link app, selected my device it displayed as active and connected then 30 seconds it disconnected and keeps repeating. I have done several factory resets to no avail. I have tried the sideload option again to no avail.

..Plugged into USB 3.2 port on my PC (tried Several ports)
..Updated quest software on the PC (Rebooted)
I can see this is a common problem amongst the community 
as this is a brand new headset I cannot get past the update and I don't know what else to try, the headset wont stay on log enough to update. Any help would be truly appreciated
