Quest 3 referral issues

Anyone else having issues using the referal scheme? 

I have two friends who've bought the devices off my recommendation, and both have been unable to use my referal code. And meta support is beyond difficult to get a hold of, it's impossible to speak to anyone.

And to make it even more skeptical the offer was 45 pounds each now it's dropped to 25 pounds, so it wouldn't surprise me if it now magically worked....
