Quest 3/3s (and maybe 2)

I noticed recently after the immersive home update, that the floor no matter what you set it too, it will change it to a random hight to whatever object that sticks up from the floor. May it be a chair, a cats food bowl. It uses it to set the new hight at random. And holding the quest button doesn't fix the hight back to the floor. And that's troubling in certain games. And sure, you can reset it using the reset floor hight. But it breaks within minutes. Idk what's causing the issue issue for doing that.

    Sometimes after an update like this that used floor levels, it's a good idea to delete all the previous spatial, boundaries and floor level data and set it up again. Maybe give it a try if you haven't already. If you have tried it, contact support. Make sure to remove any accessories like controller and protective headset covers before you reset the boundaries and floor levels. Good luck!

      Deleting all data about play spaces had already been done and it's still doing it. And I've seen others complain about it too. I thought this was the bug tracker xD but it seems to be connected to the controllers. Anytime I do something with them. Not exactly sure what. But likely anytime both of them lose tracking for a few seconds (and this is just a guess) it resets the floor upon finding them

    That's unfortunate. It looks like you tried everything. The only other options you might or might not have tried are often advised by the support team are using the Meta Software update tool on the pc to repair the software, and if it doesn't work, a, total factory reset, making sure to back up all your apps and progress in the cloud first.. If you tried already and it didn't work, you'll have to contact support. 

  • I have same problem, update to newest version, do a reset, and nothing helps.
