Quest 3s controller problem

I accidentally dropped my left controller in a bucket of water. I immediately took out the battery and dried it as much as I can. Later i went to see if it was working and my controller didnt turn on but it said the controller was connected. Does anyone know what i should do to get it working again?

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ people are doing strange things to their devices/controllers.

I can't find the thread anymore..... probably archived when the forum changed.

Here was somebody who dropped the controller in a toiletπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

I remember, back when we were all single, one of our friends getting married, we decided to go to Oktoberfest for his bachelor party... I dropped my phone into one of those huge tankards of beer. Unlike the one I dropped in the swimming pool, this one didn't survive the experience. πŸ˜‚πŸΊπŸΊ

  • I heard that if you open the battery hatch and then immerse the controller in a bowl of rice (uncooked of course) it can remove moisture from inside the device. I remember dropping my phone years ago into the swimming pool, before there was water resistance on them. It was totally non functioning but after a few days it came back to life. Give it a try maybe.
