Brand new Quest 3s, just received (its literally Christmas day).Quest kept going to a blank screen once the loading logo disappeared, left hours incase it was doing something with no change, soft resets result in loading Logo then blank screen.Eventually attempted the factory reset on the device, this took me through the reset, deleting screen etc, then the device restarted. It now goes straight to the boot screen on a restart, the option "boot device" just reloads the boot screen, and any further attempt to factory reset does nothing, just takes me back to the same boot screen. It does nothing else, even turning it off results in it starting itself back up and going to boot screen.Help!P.s. Do meta not have any support at all other than fans and pushing their customers to the community forum? There appears to be no way at all of getting in touch with them when there's a problem with a device.

Regarding the solution to the issue, I'm still curious on how they'd fix it as you can't really download any updates when a device is bricked

Same here, this was the "big gift" this year for 3 kids and it's a disappointing brick right now. I've spent the last few hours trying to troubleshoot and fix it and stumbled onto this thread. Glad it isn't just us, but feel sorry for all the disappointed kiddos and families out there today. For some folks it takes months of saving to purchase a gift like this. Bummer.

I'm having the SAME EXACT PROBLEM!!! SOOOOO frustrating. I also have a very sad 11 yr old! 😞 Tried all the "trouble shooting" solutions. have tried installing and connecting device on my iPhone, iPad and Mac book. All having the same issues with the device. Cannot connect and headset just goes to a blue-ish blank screen then the usb screen then the blue screen. Won't do anything else. I bought mine new at GameStop. Literally just unboxed it this morning.

Yeah, ours is a faded looking blue/grey-ish screen. It goes back and forth between that screen and the USB screen. At one point when I tried to do a factory reset, I got "device is corrupted" message. That was freaky.

We have had th4e same i brought 2 one is perfectly fine the other isn't so i have one very upset child and the other is loving life 😞 I've spoken to someone from meta and they said the team are working hard to fix it and ill be emailed with a update awful considering its xmas day!!

Righty, got some more info, It's an update that's gone wrong and broken many quests, I wouldn't reccomend getting a new one or anything of the sort yet as since its an update it'll be the same issue all over again (not ideal)

Same thing just happened to us. New 3s, it started a software update. When it finished we only see a black screen. We rebooted and after the meta os, we only see a black screen. Arg...
