Quest link wouldn’t work today, did yesterday

tried factory reset and idk if it’s still on the same version as it was when it stopped working but still won’t connect, either crashes or is frozen in black screen with meta icon,

iv been spending a whole day troubleshooting everything and meta support is currently not working saying

When it gets fixed, highly recommend turning off update settings and disabling anything to make the software update, as it’s was fixed. They patch the issue when it had the rapid disconnect and reconnect on 3rd party link cables.

and in one whole day I got another update after the patch and now the whole quest link is crashing.

also no one has said anything about this anywhere about this issue today and can’t reach meta about it either,

guess I’m not using the quest link today because meta broke the software again right after fixing the broken link cable issue.

iv gotten no real feedback, and the feature no longer works.
its going back into the box till next month when they release another update. Till then good luck everyone else and hope you find the answers I couldn’t get from this company

  • Turns out it was a new driver issue with my graphics card, after updating everything I could think of

    it worked.

pc drivers needed to be updated, it wasn’t just headset and quest link update.

When all that updates, check the drivers on the pc to make sure it’s all up to date too…

after giving up. I sat and had a think of anything I missed.

    its now working

  • update your Meta Quest and PC software, try a different USB port, disable your antivirus/firewall, restart both your headset and PC, and consider reinstalling the Oculus PC app or running a clean reinstall

  • There was an update for the Meta Quest Link PC app yesterday. Link and AirLink is working fine, and I have had absolutely zero issues with it in the past 4 months that I have owned a Quest 3.
