Quest Recording Randomly Zoomed In for 8 Hours… Tunnel Vision Effect Ruined My Gameplay Footage...

I record gameplay directly on my Meta Quest while playing for my YouTube channel. Recently, after playing for several hours, I noticed that all of my footage looked slightly zoomed in, almost like my character had tunnel vision. The field of view was clearly tighter than normal.

While I was still in VR, everything seemed fine. I didn’t change any settings (at least not intentionally), and I went through all the display/recording options trying to figure out what happened. I couldn’t find anything that would cause it. I even tried Googling the issue but couldn’t find anyone describing the same problem.

The weird part.. after I restarted the headset, everything went back to normal. But several days later it is now doing the same thing..

Unfortunately, that means about 8 hours of gameplay across multiple games are all recorded with this zoomed-in effect. It really hurts the quality of the videos and makes them look off compared to my normal uploads.

Has anyone experienced this before?
Is this a known Quest recording bug?
Is there any way to prevent it from happening again?

Appreciate any help! I really don’t want this happening again after long recording sessions!
