So I bought it on black friday. Each time I fully charge it ( I dont have elite strap with the battery ) and open my meta quest 3s and check the battery in settings it says 99%. It is normal ( like it drains 1% away right when you start it ) or does the battery has an issue? Thanks for help!
The green light goes on with mine when it hits 98% but if I leave it, over some time it hits 100%. However, I treat it as an inbuilt battery saver and unplug it when it goes green. Apparently, not charging to 100% keeps the battery healthy for longer. I have a setting my phone to stop charging at 90%. You can choose all the way down to 80%. Maybe a good idea not to go to 100% every time.
I did a hard reset and it worked, battery is now 100%! Great.
I would recommend doing a hard power off/on every 2 or 3 days, it eradicates all the gremlins that accumulate over time. The Quest has a lot of gremlins 😉.
