Redeeming gift card on child account

Hi, just got my 10 year old a quest 3s for Xmas. I’m trying to put a gift card on his account but he doesn’t have a wallet. I assume this is because it’s a pre teen account. Is there any way I can add the gift card to his account? Cheers in advance.

    No, it's not.....like you said, child accounts(10-12) does not have any payment methods, not even gift cards.

    You can add the gift card to your account, and then gift the game he wants to his account.

    No, it's not.....like you said, child accounts(10-12) does not have any payment methods, not even gift cards.

    You can add the gift card to your account, and then gift the game he wants to his account.

        I don't believe this is possible.🙁

        I think, you can only gift from the store.....I'm not entirely sure though.
