Referral credit not working
I was sent a referral link to purchase a Quest 2.
Then i used the link and it ask me to create my Oculus account etc.
When i go to my profile on this site, i could not find the referral credit or a confirmation about receiving the referral, and when i try to use my link again, it said i already used a referral link to this account. Why didn’t I receive the credit?
Hi there, Axolotlgaming23! We love hearing that you enjoyed your Quest headset enough to refer a friend. Part of the qualifying criteria for a referral is that the device must be new; it cannot be refurbished or have been registered previously on another account. Due to this criteria not being met, this would be the reason a referral credit was not received.
As a reminder, the criteria needed to be met in addition to the steps for sending a referral are:- To make a referral, customers must have a registered Quest 2, Quest 3, or Quest Pro.
- The recipient's Meta account cannot already be associated with any Meta Quest devices.
- Older Oculus devices (such as the Oculus Quest 1) should not make a referral ineligible.
- The referral recipient must be registering a new Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, or Quest Pro.
- The device must be new, not refurbished, and not previously registered to another account.
- Both accounts must be in a Meta Quest supported country.
- They don't need to be from the same country.
- Both the referrer and the recipient must be at least 18 years old (19 in South Korea).
- The referral code must be applied before setting up the new Quest device.
