Replaceable batteries

I'm wondering that with the drive towards sustainability why don't we have a slot on the device for customers to easily replace wasted headset batteries? Surely it will be better for the environment and reduce electronic waste. Same situation exists with mobile phones. In the past we could replace a battery easily. The technology exists to make customer battery replacement very easy. Should we all be pushing Meta to do more for customers who have exhausted batteries rather than trashing the whole headset and buying a new one or having to return it to service, particularly in countries where local service does not exist. A slot for installing a new battery is technically very simple to do. My device is new so not an issue, but one day this battery will die.

Maccyb123 any decent company which cares about the environment and and the environmental concerns of its customers should be doing this. Unfortunately meta does of these things. They just want you to buy a new headset every couple of years as the battery has worn out.

Sad but true. They all talk about sustainability, environmental protection and customer value but they don't do the simplest thing by making batteries easily replaceable. Honestly, I don't know how they all get away with it and of course mobile phone companies are the worst. Appreciate the comment.
