Same. My third replacement was today. Yes I have gone through four of them. Each one have eventually the same issue. I'm going to return the fourth one as well and just look for a third party solution after reviews come in.

Wow, seems to be a real problem for quite a few now. One thing I did that I think helped me was to disconnect the Elite battery strap cable, make sure the Q3 is fully powered down, and then use the supplied Q3 charger/cable to fully charge the headset until its green light came on. Then disconnect the charger from the headset, wait for the green light (or any light) to go off. Then connect the elite strap battery rear usb-c to the charger/cable and press the little button next to it to see that it's powered and charging, Then plug the elite strap battery back into the headset. The headset light should then go orange, then green when both are fully charged.
Since doing this I haven't had any problems. Once both have finished charging I usually just leave it connected to the charger/cable during the day. Overnight I usually disconnect the Elite battery from the charger/cable, followed by disconnecting the Elite battery strap cable from the headset. I do this because, unfortunately, like the Q2 Elite battery strap, it continues to draw power if it stays connected. I tested this overnight and my Elite battery drained about 15% overnight. So, still a battery management issue for Meta to sort out, maybe by the Q5, lol!
All I can add to this thread so I'll sign out for now. Good luck mates and cheers.

Give it 48 hours then please report back. Maybe it is a massive Hardware internal fuse issue like I'm thinking, but I've been through four Elite straps with battery . They each have the same issue. Could you do me a favor, plug a rechargeable USB-C device into the elite strap to see if it charges.

Sorry but I don't think I'll try that again. I kinda thing that this might have been the cause of my initial problems, lol!
Last night I did try to connect an external Rmoss 10000mahr 30w pack to the rear elite strap battery port to see if it would extend the runtimes by keeping the strap battery at 100% longer. While it did seem to initially help, after about 20 minutes the elite battery started to discharge faster than I though it should (at least the headset battery stayed at 100%). So, really not sure what's going on with this darn thing?
You may be onto something with your internal fuse theory, who knows? Maybe try pressing/holding down the little button next to the rear strap usb-c port and see it that resets it. Probably worth a try imho.
Good luck mate and cheers.

Yea, I've scoured the internet and have tried all of the fixes. None of them work. I'm beginning to think this is not software related which really stinks for all of us who were early adopters.

I have never seen my Oculus Quest 2 or in my short history for the MetaQuest 3, where the green light completely turns off when the battery is charged on the headset. It just shows a constant green LED on the Quest 2 and Quest 3.
