Check under the Accessibility>Mobility>'Re-map controller', that you haven't accidentally remapped those buttons.
I checked it right now. It is all by default - nothing changed. I pressed default just in case - still have this issue.
Strange. I have two solved threads where users had similar controller issues. In case you haven't seen them, here they are. Maybe the troubleshooting procedures there might help:

Edit: the other possible problem might be a loose magnet, which is used to detect when your finger "touches" the trigger:

You could probably test the magnet simply by "touching" the trigger and watching how your fingers react on your virtual hands and avatar.
I will try 2 top solutions.
I also ordered a new right controller, I will message here is it was a hardware issue
