samba share not working

Samba share used to work with Pigasus and 4xvr player. 

Now it does not work. I tested my server (which is just a Mac) with my ipad and it worked. I'm using a quest pro. 

my father has a quest 2 and it didn't work either.

both apps just give me a login incorrect error.

help! I miss samba share to stream my content!

    i fixed it with Pigasus, haven't tested 4x yet, but here's what I did :

    changed my mac password to the same password.

    turned off samba share and file sharing and media sharing. turned on file sharing again (only that) and unchecked the windows share, which I rechecked when I turned samba back on.
