Skipthemann​ you can't replace the pancake lenses but the scratches can be polished out.

Yes but it depends on how deep the scratches are. Deep ones will still there. Maybe a good idea to prescription type lenses to protect them in the future and you can get plain glass of your eyesight is good. Shame that Meta won't replace them.
PixelPrisonVr​ what you are referring to are prescription lenses, so people don't have to wear their glasses in vr. They are an addition to the headset lenses.....they do not replace them.

That's true , however for the future they can be excellent protection for the lenses as they're glass, not plastic. You can order plain glass lenses from all the suppliers with the specific use of protecting your lenses from damage. They're probably worth getting along with the headset and there's no worries about getting scratched.
