My quest 3s lens are a little scratched from what seems to be my eyelashes. I already did a comunity form but this one is if anyone can help me fill out a warrenty form. When i sign in it says no devices are linked to my meta account and when i enter in the serial number for verify other ways it says that it is not a serial number. Also if any body has tips on filling out warrenty can you leave a comment
Wow !! You must have strong eyelashes ! There are two very similar serial numbers for the Quest, make sure you have the right one. Contact support here. Below the page you're reading here you will see a Device Support team link. Also for future reference you can get plain glass lenses that snap on over the lenses to protect them. Left of field solution here, there is a product called polywatch which removes light scratches from acrylic watch crystals and some people have used it to remove scratches from the Quest lenses. It works. If you search "using polywatch to remove quest lens scratches" on YouTube it will show you what to do. It's very easy and might save you a lot of time and trouble. Good luck.
Thx, now looking at it it seems like it scratched the coating and not the lens
If it's just the coating definitely use a light application of polywatch, it will remove the small scratches and get some plain glass lens protectors so it won't happen again. Good luck and enjoy your quest!
Hey croissant.2025 - as Maccyb123 said, just make sure you're inputting the correct serial number. Sometimes the letter O and the number 0 can look similar and are easily mistaken for one another. Just check that carefully, if you can.
