Screen Blanks out. Tracking Problem?

Bought a 3s in July 2025 on Amazon for my grandsons birthday.   The unit turns on, shows meta log, briefly shows surroundings, then the screen blanks although you can tell it's on.   Been trying to get it back for a warranty repair but the unit doesn't consistently show on my daughters account and when it does.....it doesn't show the warranty option although it's definitely still on warranty.    Tried resetting the device to no avail.   There's no way to contact meta support directly, so we are stuck with $300+ bricked device.
