[SOLVED] Cannot get past Allow Cookies screen with child account

Meta will ignore you. They don't care.

I think they honestly just want us to let I children use adult accounts so they can collect more data, this to me is the only plausible explanation why support have gone deaf regarding this.

There are many users with the problem but no solution.

I first contacted meta nearly a month ago regarding this, they passed my case on to some sort of technical team who email every couple of days. Them emails have now dried up and I don't even get them anymore, just a automated one that says "we haven't heard from you, please respond to this email if you still need help" so I respond and get the same automated 2 days later.

I'm so glad I managed to try and setup this account before my child opening her Christmas day present to find she can't use it. 

So fortunate for me, I have just returned the item for refund.

I have returned the headset and have got a refund.

Support was awful and I was not getting anywhere close to getting a solution so my only solution was to return the headset to argos within 28 days for a refund.

Funny thing is argos were very helpful and I was told many people return products from meta saying there support is poor.

It's not the first time I've had a poor experience with there support either. I had a elite battery strap for my quest 2 that went faulty after 2 months. And I pretty much had the same thing, every few days I would get emails from support asking if I still had the issue, I would respond to get a email from a member almost instantly saying they are taking over the case and asking me to try the same troubleshoot every time, I would tell them it still does not work and my emails would go quite again until the automated email came again a few days later asking if I still needed assistance. 

Lucky for me argos saved me again, I took the battery strap back, shown them all the emails of me trying to resolve it and they accepted to take it back even though they did not need to but because I had proof of meta support basically ignoring me they gave me a replacement product.

I have not found a solution for it yet. I am in contact with them and have been redirected to many different areas. I was informed that they are looking into the issue, but there's no estimation for when, or if, it will be solved.

Yes I went through the same thing. The email support took a while before they believed it was an actual problem, it was quite frustrating. Hopefully having more people emailing them might help.
