Some Problem With Controllers

So basically, my controllers aren’t able to select games or anything it is a problem because I factory reset and when I try to play games through the app I have to make a room scale due to me factory resetting it and I can’t because the controllers can’t select anything and I can’t do anything about it but get feedback back for it

    We understand you are having some difficulties getting your controllers to work on your Quest headset. Could we please get some additional information from you, so we can get you the best support possible? Which Quest headset are you using? Are you using the touch controllers or the pro controllers? What steps have you already taken to fix the controllers and did the issue occur before the factory reset or afterwards? 

     

    Additionally, for the first step, we would suggest trying to pair the controllers again. You can find the steps to do that in the link provided here

  • I am using the quest 3s and I have paired and unpaired my controllers many times before but nothings working I recently got the headset about 3 weeks ago

      Have your controllers worked since you got them, or have you had this issue the whole time since getting the headset? If they were working previously, can I ask did you change any settings on the headset, or damage the controllers in anyway?

       

  • Yes the controllers worked since I got them I did not change any settings I did kind of damage them by hitting it on a table not too hard to be broken and it works fine but the selecting issue

    Try toggling off all the Experimental Settings and also hand-tracking in your headset. Now unpair your controllers using the phone app. Remove the batteries from the controllers for 5 minutes then put them back in. Now re-pair the controllers using the phone app. After successful pairing, press and hold the power button on the headset for 20 seconds to power it off. Restart the headset and check if the controllers are fully working again. You should now be able to turn hand tracking and the Experimental Settings back on.
