I also encountered the same problem
GlooP Not a problem for me mate. I really like my new Q3 stationary boundry. I especially like that you can now change the size. Small is about the same as the original. Large is much (~2x) as big and I love it. The large white boundary is easy to see and it shows up during the Q3 startup. If you need to see it later you can easily go to the size options and it will show up when you select any option.
There are other boundary options and I suggest you have a look at these and find out what suits you best.
like any changes these don’t take too much time to get used to imho.
BTW, both my Q2 and QPro do not have this boundary feature with v74 and I really wish they did.
Always hard to make everyone happy I guess. Cheers

My Quest 3, version v74, was updated on March 14. After the update, I can only use the stationary boundary. I set up a room-scale boundary, but when I launch a game, it still defaults to the stationary boundary.
With the stationary boundary, I can only move within a very small area. If I step outside the boundary, it prompts me to reset it.
Many games require a large movement area, and this causes a lot of inconvenience.
Hi mychat.aa 🙂
have you tried if clearing your boundary history or even a factory reset can solve your issue?
I'm on on V74 too and can play with roomscale boundary all the time without any problems......I had never set it to stationary boundary though. I'm not sure if this makes any difference.

I have the same problem and what's more I can't even switch to roomscale boundary. Every game uses only stationary boundary so I can't play a lot of games now.

I encountered the same issue. After entering the game, I can press the Home button, then go to Settings and set the boundary as a moving boundary. After that, I return to the game and it works

Yes! I just spent all day trying to figure out why my stationary boundary was no longer activating correctly when I hadn't changed anything from the previous night. It must have updated while I was asleep, and now even the smallest setting won't trigger until after impact with the environment. New adjustable boundary is a good idea with flawed implementation.

I really hate this update. I play VRML competitively and this is such a dealbreaker for me. I need to be out of my stationary boundary if even I move a little so that I won’t accidentally hit anything. The old stationary boundary (blue) works like a charm. Not only the new one is white, but is also expanding when I accidentally move a little. I wish we have to option to lock it in place and not expand automatically.

After entering the game, press the 'Home' button, tap 'Quick Settings' in the bottom left corner, change the 'Boundary' setting to 'Move Boundary', and then tap 'Continue' to resume the game.
Ya, and that combined with the large stationary boundary option gives you lots of wiggle room, about twice the size of the original blue boundary.
This only works with my Q3, not my QPro (both now on non-PTC v76. I actually wish this was available with my QPro.

Yeah this makes me run into walls. I have a small room and I can stay in the circle... If I could see where it was. The thing LITERALLY only appears when I'm OUTSIDE OF IT!!!!! I can't stay in one spot when even when I have the sensory all the way to the max, still can't see the boundary so I'm running into walls constantly and hitting things.

After opening the game, go back to the home page, click Quick Settings, change the boundary to Walking Boundary, and then continue the game.

I'm still having this issue, any idea if there will be a rollback or fix?
