GlooP Not a problem for me mate. I really like my new Q3 stationary boundry. I especially like that you can now change the size. Small is about the same as the original. Large is much (~2x) as big and I love it. The large white boundary is easy to see and it shows up during the Q3 startup. If you need to see it later you can easily go to the size options and it will show up when you select any option.
There are other boundary options and I suggest you have a look at these and find out what suits you best.
like any changes these don’t take too much time to get used to imho.
BTW, both my Q2 and QPro do not have this boundary feature with v74 and I really wish they did.
Always hard to make everyone happy I guess. Cheers
My Quest 3, version v74, was updated on March 14. After the update, I can only use the stationary boundary. I set up a room-scale boundary, but when I launch a game, it still defaults to the stationary boundary.
With the stationary boundary, I can only move within a very small area. If I step outside the boundary, it prompts me to reset it.
Many games require a large movement area, and this causes a lot of inconvenience.

Hi mychat.aa 🙂
have you tried if clearing your boundary history or even a factory reset can solve your issue?
I'm on on V74 too and can play with roomscale boundary all the time without any problems......I had never set it to stationary boundary though. I'm not sure if this makes any difference.

I saw that the boundary settings were disabled. I clicked to set the boundary, but after setting it up, I found that it couldn't be saved, and the boundary settings still showed as disabled. How can I enable the boundary settings?

mychat.aa If you have a developer account and have this enabled, check that you haven’t turned your boundaries off. If you have a developer account enabled, try disabling it, restart your headset, and try again. Also, maybe get rid of any 3rd party apps/mods because these may be causing some of your issues. Sorry, all I can think of.
Otherwise contact meta support I guess. Cheers

mychat.aa I only use stationary boundaries so I can’t comment about room scale right now. I’ll maybe try this later and report back.
In the meantime setting your v74 Q3 stationary boundary to Large gives you about 2x an area which seems as big as I ever need. Cheers

As long as you have a Q3 (or probably Q3s) go to settings/environments/boundaries and scroll down. You should see an option to select stationary boundary size (small, medium, large). The small is default and about the size of the earlier updates. The Large is almost twice the size. Just make sure you have lots of clearance before using this. When you select these they should show a bright white boundary circle. You only see it when you startup your headset and/or move to the boundary limits.
Again, this option is not available on either my Q2 or QPro with their latest v74 update.
When you get new updates it's a good idea to review all these kind of settings in order to see what's changed. Cheers.
