Sync button missing

My sync button is missing I don't have auto sync on I factory resetted I deleted the app and re downloaded it nothing works. I check the permissions I can't snyc from my files when I try to get my pictures. I don't know what else to do

    Thank you so much for getting back to us. We completely understand how confusing this must be, especially when you're trying to sync your files and things aren’t working as expected.

     

    Just to clarify, aside from the missing sync button, is your headset working normally otherwise? That detail will help us better understand what might be going on.

     

    In the meantime, here are a few steps that can often resolve syncing issues:

    1. Check for updates Make sure both your headset’s operating system and the Meta Horizon mobile app on your phone are updated to the latest versions. Updates often include important fixes that can help with syncing.

    2. Verify your network connection Ensure your headset and phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and that the connection is stable. If the headset disconnects from Wi-Fi, the sync process may fail.

    3. Try a hard reboot of your headset This can help clear out any temporary glitches. Here's how to do it:

    Turn off your headset completely.

    Press and hold the power and volume down (-) buttons at the same time until the boot screen appears.

    Use the volume buttons to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.

    Then highlight "Yes" and press the power button again to confirm.

  • This same thing happened to me two days ago. We tried everything and talked to meta support and finally resorted to a factory reset and nothing has worked. Did you figure out how to get this resolved ?

    where are you looking for the sync option.

    I also don't have the option in my gallery..... I'm pretty sure that I could do it here before.

    But I still have the sync option if I use the camera tab from the menu.

      I can sync the clips that are recorded with the built in recording system on the VR but I can’t sync with the LIV camera that way.
