Terrible Stutter

My Quest 3 has suddenly in the last week developed a terrible stutter. I use it mainly for DCS and it is unflyable now due to this problem. Last tuesday it ran like a dream. Nothing has changed since then since the update and now it's every few seconds for at least a second. Their support page is awful. It won't accept my serial number in order to start a ticket.

Thanks! Why is it so hard to find that page though! Been looking for ages for it but thanks again!

        I admit, it's a bit cumbersome😅

If you ever need it again...... that's the way to get there:

Get support - order, returns, delivery and payments - my issue is not listed here

  • Same here, i'm having terrible drop frames on link... can't use it anymore. It was definitely working like a charm before.

Just on with their 'support' and the guy told me to do a factory reset on it. Turn it off Wait a bit and then press the power and volume buttons.

Simple enough but instead it went black and dead and has started blowing air out the top of it. absolute p.o.s. I'm going to Pimax!!

  • I don't know if you've resolved this, but the solution is most likely to use OculusDebugTool and decrease the Encode Bitrate to about 400 Mbps. I'm assuming you have previously set this to a much higher value. After a recent Meta Quest Link update, such high values don't work very well and cause bad stuttering.
