Hi there ! I see you have an issue with changing the brightness level. Just be aware that v81 is released on the public test channel. PTC. If you have a PTC version it's very likely that it will have bugs like this as it's not the official release software. When you decide to be a PTC person, your device is basically a guinea pig helping Meta to discover and fix the bugs before official release. If you don't want this to happen in the future, you should turn off the PTC option, (if you had choosen to join the PTC program) in your settings as you may well experience worse things as the version is being refined. That's why I stay far away from PTC. I even switch off auto update until I find out that the official update has no problems. I wouldn't worry about it over the medium term as Meta will fix it along with other bugs . You should definitely make a bug report through your headset, there's an option to report bugs there. Finally, if it's an official update, definitely report it as a bug !

Ok i report as a bug you said you may to turn off the PTC option is this option related to the issue? - i report many times to be honest i buy the quest new i dont know every things i report as a bug but when they answer me?

I'm sure this bug has been reported by many people, not just you. I cannot say when they will fix it, but hopefully soon. Don't expect an answer to your bug report as they will be getting lots of them. If any other bugs appear just report them too. Now that you have v81 you will have to be patient as you might see more bugs arriving and eventually being fixed. After v81 becomes official, I recommend leaving the Public Test Channel, particularly as a new user. The more experienced users can handle it as they know what to expect.
Hi PlayfulFalcon6464β π
Bug reports are never answered; they just to let Meta know "something is wrong".
If you are in PTC - apperently you are, otherwise you would not be on v81π - disable the option in your settings.
Now do a factory reset, you should get v79 then. Hopefully, your slider is working without issues on that version.

Good plan !π I didn't know a factory reset would get rid of the PTC software ! Good to know !
I said....it shouldπ
I'm not entirly sure, but it's worth a try.
He's already done a factory reset before, so it's not something he wants to avoid at all costs.
