The little plastic bar that holds the strap on my quest 3s has broken off and now I can’t find the bar.
does anyone have any suggestions? My device has been out of warranty for almost a year.
I’ve tried contacting meta support but there’s no category for what I need to get help for

Ah no. Same thing happened to me,not that long after getting it. Forget about finding the bar as even superglue won't hold it. I did a short term Jerry Rig by placing the strap between the headset and the visor, but it's short term. So,, what you need is a halo style strap where the attachment bar isn't needed. I got one and in a way I was glad as it's much more comfortable! Make sure it is one that anchors to the side. In the first photo is the halo strap I got and the bottom photo just trying to show how I placed the strap behind the faceplate. The one in the middle is accidental! Lol. Sorry, the lighting isn't good on the first one, I just took it now and my lights are low but you can get the idea.

Yes, it's a good idea! A friend did it with his 3s too, superglue, baking soda etc, but it only lasted a few months before the bar came out along with some of the faceplate. Make sure you are extra gentle with it because though the bar is stronger, the anchor points are not and the baking soda plastic is weak. For comfort though,, I still recommend the halo strap, it's a huge improvement on the standard one. But this fix will still allow other non halo style comfortable straps too at least for as long as it lasts.
