I tried OpenMTP, but no prompt appears when I plug it in.
I hope, a Mac user can help you. I don't use one and I'm not a great help here, sorry.
I found this video, but they connect a phone to the Mac using OpenMTP, not a Quest, so this will probably not help you at all🙁
