Trouble setting up childs account

Since Christmas I have been trying to set up an account for a 10 year old I have tried through the family centre on the app and also via a Web browser all I keep getting is something whent wrong try again later when it attempts to verify me via my bank card what can I do to rectify this problem?

    Have you already added the credit card to your account?

    Normally, it'll use this card - charging and refunding 99 cents, which takes a few days. After the verification of your card the "something went wrong" message should go away.

  • Yeah, I got that too. I tried again about 3 days later and still got the error. Then I forgot about it for about a week, and after I checked again, the child account was all set up and working.
