  • I've tried on four different devices, and it doesn't work for me either. Everything is setup on my account, but it won't let me add my child.

Usually, it uses the existing credit card (if you have already added one) and charges 99 cents to it. It takes about 5-7 days to verify the card and, in the meantime, you will simply get a vague "something went wrong" message when trying to add the profile until the bank has cleared and refunded the 99 cents.

I kept getting errors when trying to add my daughter's profile via the headset or phone app. Finally, I used the option to send an invite by email and sent it to myself. I opened the emailed link on my PC and it launched the auth.meta.com website. I tried adding her profile through that page and it worked!

Yeah, I got that too. I tried again about 3 days later and still got the error. Then I forgot about it for about a week, and after I checked again, the child account was all set up and working.

  • Hi Devillady85 🙂

Have you already added the credit card to your account?

Normally, it'll use this card - charging and refunding 99 cents, which takes a few days. After the verification of your card the "something went wrong" message should go away.
