Unable to Add Payment with Meta Quest 3s

Hi, I have tried the horizon app, on the settings of the meta quest 3s, on the website on my pc to add a payment method. Everytime is says "sorry payment can not be added". I have restarted apps, logged out and back in, got off the wifi then back on. Everything but nothing is working. Please help so I can use the device that I paid 300$ for.

 

 

  • Recently made a successful online purchase from a US merchant?
  • Check to see if the financial institution placed any restrictions
  • Try another network connection type
  • Try another network location
  • Try different combinations of the area/zip code
  • Restart the device
  • Try another device
  • Try another payment method

    I'm facing the same. If you figure out a workaround to add a payment method, do update your post

    you should contact support, so they can look into that.

    You can do that via email, chat or whatsapp here:

    Until your problem is solved you can work around the problem by

    • creating another account,
    • adding a payment method to that account (surprisingly, on another account this works often without issues) 
    • and gifting games from the second account to your main account.

    This workaround has helped other users, but there is no guarantee it'll work for you too
