Unable to download videos from the Meta Horizon app.

I have been trying to download 2 videos (30 min video and 40 sec video) all day but every method I try doesn’t work.

•Downloading straight from the app ends with “Download Unsuccessful” every time.

•I can’t share the video to another app (like WhatsApp) as the video size is too big.

• Sharing/copying the URL does work after waiting a while, but it makes me download the video as a file, rather than saving to my photos app which I need it to.

Sending the videos to Google Drives works, but has the same issue as before.

Is there anything I can do to be able to download my videos and have them save to my photos app rather than as a file.

    We hear you're having some problems downloading videos from the Meta Horizon app, that's of course not ideal, we'd love to help out!

    We have a few things here that we'd like to suggest for you, so if you have a moment please give them a try.

     

    First up, please make sure that your phone has enough storage space to download your videos, as videos of that size will take up quite a lot of space.

    Secondly, ensure that you have a stable connection while your downloading the videos, as any interruptions or unstable connection can cause problems with the download.

     

    If all of that doesn't work, then please also try restarting your phone, to ensure that the system has a fresh start.

  • Maybe you don't have enough free space on your phone? Or maybe try rebooting your phone.
