Unable to log into account after not using oculus for a while

Hi Folks can l please ask if anyone has come across this and how to resolve it please

Your account and its apps will be deleted on 23 November 2026.

What this means

You can't use your Meta account at the moment, including the Meta AI app, Meta Horizon and any Meta devices.

What you can do

Download your information so that you have a copy of your profile and Meta account details.

    You can try cancelling deletion from here, if you can get in, but I think these instructions are for deletions requested yourself:

    Or in the mobile app:

    1. Open the Meta Horizon mobile app on your phone.
    2. Tap Continue with email, then log in using the email address you used to create your Meta account.
    3. Tap Cancel deletion.
    4. Tap Menu in the bottom right, then tap Settings.
    5. Tap Accounts Centre, then tap Cancel deletion.

    Of course, if you can't log in then you are done for and I guess Meta banned you for some reason. Someone told me the T&C's state that users can be deleted if they don't use their accounts in a very long time, but it seems to be a very rare occurrence.

    You could maybe try logging in with a different account and contacting official support for live chat using this link ("Chat with customer support").
