USB c failure and melt
I have three occulus 2s. Every single one the USB on the oculus has broke and won't charge. One even melted. Now I have three giant paper weights that I spent over $700 on. What a waste of money. Get yourselves together meta.

Hi. Yes it's not nice. I have a question 3 and charging port melted fir me too. I bought it brand new from Ebay but they won't help me 😞 never buying a question again
3 Quest VR headsets with failed USB-C ports and one melted? That sounds like port abuse or low quality cables or chargers.
I have one Quest 2 and two Quest 3, I have never had an issue with the ports. Been using them almost daily for a couple years. One bad port... sure. Two with bad ports... OK seems a bit uncommon but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
But you have three Quest VR headsets and all of them have failed USB ports?!?!!?? Has to be something you are using with them (crappy cables or crappy power supplies) or doing to them.
It's nothing different than I do with my phone or any other device that has the same USB port. They all work fine and I have never had an issue. I also don't like to come on these sites and complain but this issue made me angry. Even the owner at Fix My Oculus said this is the biggest issue he sees with the Occulus 2 being damaged. I have a Quest 3 now and they have a magnetic charge port which solves everything. So I'm good.
