User ID confusion

I have a first-generation Oculus Quest VR headset with the games I purchased. I recently purchased an Oculus Quest 3s and cannot see the games I purchased on the original. The only problem I can think of is the used IDs are different i.e. one is userid48 the newer one is userid79. Obviously, I have not been able to talk with any customer service people, and the AI doesn't help with any support. I know things have changed as far as accounts with Meta, but I can't find anyway to do a merge thing or whatever to fix this. Has anyone ever had an issue similar to this? I'd appreciate any help, thanks in advance.

Did you migrate your old Oculus account to your new Meta account before March 2024, like you were required to? If you didn't, you were emailed a recovery code to recover your purchases. If you don't have that email/code, your old purchases are permanently lost. I think the title of the email was "Important changes regarding your Oculus account" or similar. That should help you search for it. The initial email warnings were sent out around August 2022.

If you did migrate your old Oculus account, but now have two different Meta accounts, you needed to have used the original account to set up your Quest 3s, rather than create a new account, as your purchases are associated with your specific accounts. You could factory reset your Quest 3s and set it up again with the first Meta account that has the games on it (assuming that you had migrated them in 2022). Alternatively, you could add both accounts to your headset and switch between the two as needed, or you could use the App Sharing feature to share your purchases from the primary account to the secondary account if both accounts are added to the headset.
