Dropping back to v72 worked, v74 is definitely bugged. The same thing happened in v69 beta.
We either wait for update or drop back

If it is possible to remove this as a solution it would be helpful. The problem persists outside the PTC and numerous folks have chimed in here. It isn't possible to drop back to v72 from the non-PTC v74.

how do I drop back to v72 to see if that fixes it?

How did you go back to v72 because since the update with v74 my headset only charges up to only 74 percent and when I play it flickers and go blank for a few seconds, just a terrible update.

This was before 74 was in stable release. I cannot go back now

How did you get back to v72 because I want to go back to v72 also, they told me it could not be done because it's in there already.

For goodness sake, how many times do reddit kiddies need to post this question, lol! Obviously with very little google research that it's not currently possible to roll back from v74 to v72. Maybe in the future this will be possible, who knows?
I'm not having any major battery charging issues with my Q3 on the latest non-PTC v74. One minor issue I saw when I enabled the update during shutdown option that after a short update process, and later restart, my Q3 Elite battery strap battery immediately dropped by about 20% (from 90% down to 70% for me). Putting it back on the Q3 charger (connected to the strap battery) it did go back up to 100% after about 1 hr. Both packs then reported 100%. Sometimes the headset battery reports 99% but this doesn't seem to cause any problems.
I've now disabled the options to update to latest and update before shutdown options (leaving the security update option enabled).
One thing I have noticed since v74 is that my Elite battery strap now seems to discharge a bit faster when playing PCVR using Air Link (which it and Link both still works very well). PCVR battery usage was improved a few updates ago by about 20%. This now seems to have been removed. I have filed a bug report on this.
