The title says it: Unknown Sources not showing in Navigator.
You can once in awhile get US to show by toggling Developer options in advanced settings and restarting. Will not show again after next startup.
Once again a poorly designed feature is released with serious flaws and oversights without adequate testing and quality assurance.
are you on the ptc? if you are then try switching it off and going to headset update to downgrade the version
maybe i should downgrade....how do i do that?
sometimes it comes back and sometimes it doesnt....even when unknown sources shows up and i click on it....the programs listed are not my current programs.... this update is a real problem...navigator is not ready for prime time
I think i have a work around.....not sure but it seems to work 1) turn on quest 2
2) go to advanced settings and turn off....developer mode....its the last part of advanced settings...
3) close quest 2 and restart 4) go to advanced settings and turn on developer mode..... 5) turn off and restart quest 2.....you should see unknown sources in the menu...... my unknown sources doesnt show what is actually uploaded but "prior" programs
This only works sometime.....sometime it doesnt... probably some cache needs to be empty....this is a real problem as navigator refuses to recognize unknown sources... i added some programs and now they are missing when i can get on unknown sources...... this is incredibly buggy software...i wish i could just delete it.
Now the turn on and turn off developer will not bring back my unknown sources and my uploads to quest 2 are not there...when i got unknown sources working.....i have not been able to access them in 2 days....

Not on PTC, don't want to deal with bugs. However with half-baked features like Navigator being released it seems we all are unwilling beta-testers, like it or not.
I can 1 out of 10 times get US to show by toggling developer mode and restarting but it goes away again with the next restart.
Plus with the forever shutdown hang up, restarting the headset has become a painful process.
i have this issue too. turning developer mode off and on again doesn't solve the problem either.
is there any development on the situation? my headset is now basically a paperweight without my unknown source apps.
