This morning, my device was updated to v78.1027, but strangely, none of the new functions of v77 were pushed to my device, just as if it had not been updated. Even if it was updated to v78, no new functions appeared.
Some, maybe many, should avoid ptc/beta imho.
Is my headset really a PTC system? Why can't I experience any new functions, such as background management of v76?
v78.1027 the only thing I have found different was when you pinch your fingers together the meta ai is now on top instead of on the right side and that's about it lol
I quit the PTC version and was downgraded to V77.1027. Interestingly, the software update pushed v77.1026 to me, and I couldn't install it.The device always reminds me to install this update, which is a troublesome bug.

I quit PTC, and the system reverted to v77.1027. It seems that the official version of v77 is available. PTC is really terrible, with no new functions but countless bugs.

but, I’m basically stuck at the PTC, just hoping the Wi-Fi and audio issues will magically fix themselves. Life would’ve been so much better if I hadn’t updated to v76…
I think you can choose to quit PTC. If you are a v78, you will know all the data on the equipment and enter the factory setting state.
It doesn’t even matter anymore.
Quest Pro has been broken since v76 anyway.
There’s literally no difference between v76, v77, and v78 PTC. they’re all the same mess.
At this point, I’m just praying v78minor update with fixed Wi-Fi and audio gets pushed out ASAP.

I have the latest non-ptc v78.1027 on my +2.5yo QPro and non-beta v78 meta-link app. All's working great for standalone and PCVR using Link (usual mode I use for sims) and Air Link. The wifi throttling issue that appeared in v76/77 now seems to be fixed.
Sorry that you seem to have so many problems with your QPro. All I can suggest is that you contact meta support including your log files and see if they can identify what's causing your issues. Good luck mate and cheers.
