V81 - Menu Fails to load

Ok so on V81 when you power on the headset the menu does not load every time! It’s very intermittent. 

it’s been happening for months and even a hard reset even factory reset does not resolve it. 

is there a fix on the horizon for this? Any other users having this issue?

    We noticed your post, thanks for providing feedback for us as this helps us improve things on our end.

     

    We would really appreciate it if you could create a detailed bug report, so our engineers are able to look into this further. 

     

    To report a bug from your Meta Quest.

    1. Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right Touch controller to open the universal menu.
    2. Select the clock on the left-hand side of the universal menu to open Quick settings.
    3. Select Report problem.
    4. Select Include or Don't include to add complete logs and diagnostics.
    5. Follow the instructions to submit your report.

  • I'm having the same issue today.  I can't report a bug from my Quest because THERE IS NO MENU PRESENT!!!!  I've tried the hard-reset method...and tried launching a game from my phone App...but ZERO luck.  Meta really screwed up ROYALLY this time.

      Hey Wet_Blister,

       

      You can also file a bug report via the Meta Horizon app!

       

      - Open the Meta Horizon app

      - Tap the "Menu" icon at the top of your Horizon feed

      - Scroll down to "Support" and then tap it

      - Click "Report an issue"

      - Type in the explanation of the bug you'd like to report

      - Tap "send" in the top right corner
