Since you have no working controllers, you will need to perform some actions using the headset's limited navigation capabilities (head cursor and volume buttons) or by using the Meta Quest mobile app.
- Reboot your headset: This is the simplest solution and can fix many temporary tracking glitches. Hold down the power button until the menu appears, then use the head cursor and volume buttons to select "Restart."
- Manually enable hand tracking: While you are in the Quick Settings menu, ensure that hand tracking is actually toggled on. If it is already on, try turning it off and on again to re-engage the feature.
Regarding PTC v83:
- Public Test Channel (PTC): As you've noted, PTC versions contain prerelease software. While it's possible a future version like v83 will fix your issue, it could also introduce new problems.
- Downgrading: Downgrading the headset's operating system is not supported. If you are already in the PTC, you can opt out through the Meta Horizon app, and the device should downgrade to the latest public release.
