Visa payment method declined

Hey my oculus quest 2 won’t accept my Visa card for any games it’s worked in the past but now it won’t accept it can someone please help me. I’m

I tried Meta Gift Cards from Amazon (were sended in two minutes to email). With them I was able to buy games. Hope this helps somebody.

    Man I got excited when I was trying this.  Good idea.  Unfortunately it did not work.  I was able to redeem the gift code and the option to use the gift amount was there as the payment method when I checked out.  Still the same error "we noticed unusual activity....."

      Awwww snap.  So after trying to use the gift card from Amazon it didnt work.  I still had my bank card saved as a payment method though.  I then removed that payment so that the only source of funds was the gift card balance and it worked.  Thanks DocBriggs !

        OMG that did it for me too. I had PayPal as another payment method when i first tried the gift card. I just removed PayPal, and suddenly the gift card works now. huh. still unable to add credit cards (all fail) and NOW i can't add the PayPal back. go figure.

    This Doesn't Work outside North America and Europe. And if the buyer and user is not from the same region.

      I’m in the US.  And payments have worked for me for the last 5+ years, until 2 1/2 weeks ago.
