Volume buttons and mic not working

I have a meta quest 2, which about 2 months ago the mic stopped working. I went to do a factory reset which is when I realised the volume buttons are also not functioning either. I can adjust the volume in the settings and the buttons make feedback noise but do not seem to function. I have made sure I have the latest updated software. I have factory rest too but still not working. Wondering if anyone could help or has experienced the same? Thanks
