VR video glitches (not games)

Lately, when I try to watch a VR video on my Quest 2, the playback keeps glitching. Varous sections of the screen go black in rapid fire succession. It's almost as if there is a loose wire or something. But I don't have this problem when playing games, only video. It is really jarring and affects the whole screen, particularly on the left side. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?

I don't use my headset very often, so I have no interest in buying a newer version.
