Hi BozCanSuckMyNipples 🙂
probably not deleted.
Sadly, with the new forum a lot of threads have been archived.
You can ask klburns to restore it.... he already did that with other threads.

Well there ends my time in VR. Left controller kept losing tracking and the option button on it was not working anymore so I couldn't try and re-pair it again. Had nothing to lose, tried to pop the top off to see if any dust was breaking the option button, but I drew a knife right through that wire that connects it. Catch you later VR.
Oh my, I saw your picture only now😮... this is really bad.
And it's a great warning to everyone:
Do not use a sharp knife to pry it open, but rather another tool.😉

Yup, find something else that's thin but not pointy

It's restored, thanks.

Yeah, big surprise there... Meta's record of support for Quest Pro controllers has always been complete garbage, and reaching out to support usually does nothing, so I can completely understand why you'd want to do it publicly. Sorry to hear about the issue with the wire too.
Also, Meta, FIX THE ISSUE ALREADY, DAMNIT. This has been going on FAR too long for something that people go out of their way to pay more for, and quite a bit more at that.

I only wish i read the forums before updating, how so many bug filled updates went out for the pro controllers and headsets at the same time is a sad thing to see. And with the push for worlds to be crammed in our faces makes it hard not to conclude the direction and pressure of management was on pushing this money grab update onto us at the soonest. Well time to start shopping another headset i guess. Thanks for ruining a niche market before it became mainstream and you guys really could have Milkd consumers.... Even rushing greed has undesirable outcomes......
