I bought my son a Meta Quest 3 a little over a year ago and there was a problem with the first so so we got a replacement. This one worked fine for a year then just stopped charging the battery one day. We've tried different cables and outlets, as well as letting it sit on the cable it came with for 24 hrs. When he turns it on, it shows a dead battery with a black screen behind it. Does this sound like a battery issue or headset issue?

If the battery is deeply drained, It won't take any power by normal charging.
You can try blip charging, maybe you can bring it to the point when normal charging works again.

I guess, the warranty is expired?
So, if this not work, search for a repair service like "Fix my Oculus" (if you are in the US) or another one in your country.
