I unknowingly setup my 12 year old with an account showing he's 22. To change it seems like it might require an act of God. I was asked to upload, government ID or paperwork- I reluctantly uploaded mine which was rejected. The problem is he doesn't have a drivers license or a passport (again his age).
Short of going scorched earth and deleting his account, are there any options?

Interestingly, I don't remember needing any ID to set up my daughter's parentally-controlled account. I purchased my headset from Meta, so they already had my credit card details 🤷‍♂️.
steve_40​ I guess, you'll need some sort of identification if you try to change the birthdate, not when you set up the account.🤔
liamthetooth​ A birth certificate is one of the accepted ID methods, so you should try that.
yea it's amazing but I learned thats true- thank you. So I reluctantly uploaded it. But \ his account and my account need to be in the family center in order to add them. So I created an account for me. But I can't add his to mine ( I assume bc it shows his being 22 but not sure) or mine to his. The only option you have logged into either account is add your own IG/FB account- for that person logged in.
