Another morning headache—still stuck with the limited access issue when trying to connect the Quest 2 to Wi-Fi, even though the speed is great. Maybe there’s something in the settings, like DHCP, that needs adjusting to fix it?
The slow speed is stopping the headset from being updated.
I have already tried resetting the router by turning it off for 5 minutes.
Got a busy couple of days ahead so won't be spending much time with the Ocullis.
Make sure you are connecting the headset to 5 GHz wifi, nor 2.4GHz. You could also try connecting to a hotspot on your phone (just for updating) if it is a router problem.
Edit: you could also try connecting to a different wifi network, maybe at a friend's house etc. If the wifi still isn't working, it could be because the software is out of date (because the headset was factory reset). In that case, we'll have to walk you through how to update your headset using a wired USB connection to your PC using the Quest Software Update webpage.
