Account shows old headset and I can’t pair my new one

I traded in my old headset meta quest 2 that was under warranty and got a 3s but my account still says I’m using the quest 2 so I’m not able to pair my 3s correctly.          In my account it shows that I have the quest 2 but I have no access to that headset anymore.  How do I get that off my account and be able to use my new one

Hey there BaseballBoy9924! we hear that you're having some troubles setting up your new Quest 3S headset, that's of course not the start with your new headset we want you to have and we would like you to send us a private message to start a support process or click in the following link: https://www.meta.com/help/support/

We will be looking forward to see your message on our inbox!

  • Hi BaseballBoy9924 🙂

You can pair multiple headsets with your account, that's no problem.

Open the menu in the Horizon app - device management - devices - add device - select the headset model you want to pair.

However, you can  delete your old headset from your account by following the link

    https://auth.meta.com/settings/my/devices/

and click on "factory reset". This will remove the Quest from the account.
